Let the Christmas season begin! gingerbread house

We're getting very excited for Christmas and its not even December yet!  Today is Wacky Wednesday so we made a gingerbread house (well, we bought the gingerbread house kit and decorated it).  Kids loved eating all the sweets (they were allowed to eat as much candy as they wanted).  It didn't stay together so I tied string around it and used a glue gun...hehehe!

I subjected Candice to a pretty intense photo shoot yesterday to show off some of the bows I made.  She was such a good girl!  JT modeled my holiday tie and suspenders for me today...he's a natural.

Thanksgiving

We had a fun thanksgiving.  We made rice crispy treats and sugar cookies in the morning (family tradition).  We had a nice dinner with about 20 of our family members at Ross' aunt's house then headed to my grandmother's to have dessert.  Candice looked fabulous in her leopard sweater dress!

Wacky Wednesday

Today we made "hand turkeys" and Ross showed JT how to use a real hammer and nails.  We made a quick trip to Bass Pro shops and Candice wore her adorable Turkey Day shirt (from her Nana) with the Turkey Bow I made her.

Pre-Turkey Day fun

We all got together this Sunday to have a "pre-thanksgiving" dinner.  The holiday can be very busy and we just thought it would be nice to celebrate together first before the big day.  It was a GREAT success and hopefully a new tradition.

Late Summer/Early Fall 2012 recap

Here's a quick re-cap of some of summer 2012 and early fall.

We celebrated Ross' 33rd birthday with a camouflage themed backyard party.

We went to Springstein and carried on the bandana theme there!

In May, we found out we're expecting our second baby (this is me about 20 weeks along).

We had a fun summer with lots of outdoor fun in the sun.  Candice went from being a "baby" to a toddler overnight!

Fun trips to Bass Pro with daddy.

Buzz turned 5 this summer!

We went tailgating at the Patriots home opener with Candice!  The weather was beautiful.

Candice got her first pair of real cowboy boots.

Candice and her Auntie "Dith" in early October.
